** Update – November 2009 – silver was accepted! ** Silver was a temporary stay of the Oakville Humane Society 445 Cornwall Road Oakville, Ontario, Canada 905-845-1551 www.oakvillehumanesociety.com Silver came to the shelter as a stray in October 2008. He had originally by us in 2007, so despite his arrival in a stray, we know a small about its history. Silver is a wonderful guy, sweet, silent and cuddly. He is a cozy and silent retirement home where he can spend his time napping in sunbeams and curling look on a warm lap. Silver has some special medical needs to know his new family should. He can be prone to allergies and is very reactive to flea bites and has also eosinophillic granuloma complex cause an inflammatory skin disease, skin lesions. This is often associated with allergies, and currently he is eating a special hypoallergenic diet and doing very well on it. He also shows a heart murmur but ultrasound that it was not the cause of the problems at the moment. Silver should be with a family that is regularly devoted Vet Care, and they should for any additional costs, as he will need more frequent screening than the average cat can live to be prepared. He needs a house, keep it, it is strictly committed inside. Although a small extra TLC must Silver you are a lot of like in return for all the attention he gets!
