All of our cats and kittens just can’t wait for June 1 to get here which will – officially – start the beginning of adopt a shelter cat month. If you’ve have been wanting to adopt that “purrfect” friend – now is the time and our shelter and PetSmart are the place.

June is national Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat Month. Shelters are flooded with cats from May to November in Southwest Florida, the time of year when most female cats are giving birth to multiple litters. Cat intake at Lee County Domestic Animal Services increases by 34% during kitten season.
