Top Ten Finalist – YouTube Video Volunteer Spotlight: Animal Welfare We are the faces of the shelter. We are abandoned, neglected, loving, healthy, sick, promoted young, ancient. We are well cared for and loved here. But we’ll wait. We have waited so patiently. We are waiting for you and always to our home. We are the faces of the Cat Haven. www.catshaven.org Cat Haven is one of the oldest no-kill Indianapolis’ cat shelters. They were 20 years ago as a refuge for groups with special needs cats and kittens and older cats, who had founded their owners’ lives. The non-institutional protection is now home to nearly 200 cats, many of whom are up for adoption. They are a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit that accepts donations in the form of food, toys, accessories, cash or volunteer work. Music is moonlight sonata by Beethoven, as the special needs and older cats usually spend their days listening to classical music. www.youtube.com is the YouTube channel is currently connected with the Cat Haven. www.youtube.com

JJLOY : Dog Training – www.jjLoy.com – THE BEST WAY TO SAVE A BITING DOG FROM THE SHELTER

FIRST TIME DOG OWNERS GOING FROM DISASTER TO DELIGHT IN ONE DAY! Sue and Frank’s son, Thomas, always wanted a dog so, when the timing was right, to the shelter they went. As usual what you see (at the shelter) is not what you get (when you get home) and very quickly their new dog, “Whitley”, started to show nineteen (19) undesirable behaviors. Among these were food aggression, biting the family ever harder, bolting out the door and chasing animals, pulling hard on leash and lunging at anything that moves and then defiantly grabbing the leash MAKING HER IMPOSSIBLE TO WALK and, in particular, frightening 10 year ancient Thomas very terribly. This small boy’s dream was turning into a nightmare! Their veterinarian recognized the signs of behavioral disease and directed the family to the National Puppy Prep Program. This is a unique program that prevents and cures behavioral disease in dogs. The results speak for themselves. www.jjLoy.com
