They were 20 years ago as a refuge for groups with special needs cats and kittens and older cats, who had founded their owners’ lives. The non-institutional protection is now home to nearly 200 cats, many of whom are up for adoption. They are a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit that accepts donations in the form of food, toys, accessories, cash or volunteer work.
