Natural cat food uses as many all-natural ingredients as possible to recreate a cat’s instinctive diet. Many commercial brand cat foods appeal to the human eye, rather than your cat’s nutritional needs, and can cause medical complications over time.

Natural cat food recipes are becoming more prominent as feline owners look for alternatives to regular cat food, whether it they are the dry or wet variety. Because a cat’s diet is essential to its health.

Pet owners question what’s in their cat  food and quite possibly, turn to products recommending “all natural” ingredients. Pet food should be made with ingredients fit to be eaten by human, but we understand that not all that is edible for us is safe for pets. Cats have sensitive digestive tract, and feeding them food with ingredients that are difficult to digest will pose harm to their health.

The problem is Pet food manufacturers are not known for using the highest quality grains available; they would not be able to keep up their high profit margins if they did. The grains most pet food manufacturers use are those that are not fit for human consumption or are by-products from other processes.

The worst case is that cat food provides a market for slaughterhouse offal, grains considered “unfit for human consumption,” and similar waste products to be turned into profit. This waste includes intestines, udders, esophagi, and possibly diseased and cancerous animal parts.
